Pastor's Greeting & Our Mission

Greetings in the name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,

     In the book of Genesis, Adam and Eve disobeyed God and were expelled from the Garden of Eden. In reviewing this infamous account of the fall of mankind, it is not written that Adam and Eve knew that they had an enemy. Now, not only are we given the Holy Spirit and Scripture to lead, guide, and instruct us, but our enemy is clearly defined in I Peter 5:8; “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”  

      Refuge is defined as “a condition of being safe or sheltered from pursuit, danger, or trouble.” At the Refuge Church of Christ, our mission is to provide a place of safety, shelter, and love for every congregant who fellowships with us as they escape the strongholds of the enemy. Many are addicted to vices that prevent them from becoming the men and women of God, of which, they are called. Our goal is to build the kingdom of God brick by brick, with each soul representing a brick. Our focus is to determine each believer’s needs and then provide those needs with the love of Jesus Christ.
